2. Principles of data processing

Personal data on this website is collected and processed only to the extent necessary to respond to your inquiry and operate the site. We do not sell or trade your data, and we do not pass it on to third parties beyond the service providers described in this policy, unless legally required or necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

3. Applicable framework

Gorrión del Cielo S.A.S. is established in Uruguay, and processing of personal data is primarily governed by Uruguayan Law N° 18.331 on the Protection of Personal Data and its regulatory decree, supervised by the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP).

If you are located in the European Union or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, the applicable rules of your jurisdiction — including the GDPR, where it applies to the processing of your data under its Article 3(2) — may also give you additional rights. Where relevant, we process data on the following legal bases under the GDPR: Art. 6(1)(b) (performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract), Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest, e.g. secure operation of the website), and Art. 6(1)(a) (explicit consent, where obtained).

4. Hosting and technical operation

This website is operated through an external hosting provider. Technical data required for the operation of the website is processed under an appropriate data processing agreement with that provider, on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website.

5. Server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects server log files, including: IP address of the requesting device, date and time of the request, page or file requested, browser and operating system used, referrer URL, and data volume transferred / HTTP status code. This data is processed solely for the technical operation and security of the website and is generally not attributable to a specific individual. Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless a longer retention period is required for security reasons.

6. Contact and investor profile forms

When you contact us via the contact form or by email — including the investor profile / asset briefing request, which may collect your name, email address, investor type, investment range and an optional message — we store and use the information you provide to process your inquiry. Data is deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply, and is never used for purposes other than responding to you and, where you have engaged with us, managing that relationship.

7. Form processing service (Web3Forms)

Submissions from the contact and investor profile forms on this website are transmitted through Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service, which forwards the submitted data to our email inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf and has access to the information you submit through these forms in order to deliver it to us. We recommend reviewing Web3Forms’ own privacy practices at their website. We are working to confirm and formalize the data processing terms with this provider.

8. Cookies and tracking

This website currently does not use tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. No tools are used to evaluate user behaviour (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar). Technically necessary cookies (e.g. for form functionality or session management) may be set without separate consent.

9. Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Once the purpose no longer applies, the data is deleted or restricted. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

10. Your rights

Under Uruguayan Law N° 18.331, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request rectification of inaccurate data, request erasure ("habeas data"), request restriction of processing, request data portability (where applicable), and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at uruguay@uruguay-land-invest.com.

11. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Uruguay, the competent authority is the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP) — gub.uy/unidad-reguladora-control-datos-personales. If you are located in the EU, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Data security (SSL/TLS)

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption for the transmission of data between your browser and our server. An encrypted connection is indicated by "https://" in your browser’s address bar and the padlock icon. Data transmitted over this encrypted connection cannot be read by third parties while in transit. Data submitted through our forms is subsequently handled according to the security practices of our hosting and form-processing providers, described above.

13. Currency of this policy

This privacy policy is current as of August 2026. Changes to applicable law or to our website may require updates to this policy. The version published on this page is always the current one.
